Finely dice your Aloha pepper, shallot and scallions. Sauté in a prying pan with olive oil for just about 2 minutes. You don't want to over cook them since they are finely chopped.
Once cooked and the Crab and cooked pepper and onion into a mixing bowl. Add 1/4 of mayo and about 1/8 of cup of spiced mustard. Add you salt pepper and garlic powder to taste into the mayo and mustard. Mix all together in the mixing bowl. Once all is incorporated add about 1/2 of the egg(beaten) and mix. Start adding breadcrumbs and mixing until you get a consistency that you can mold into a patty. Do not overdo it on the breadcrumbs, the CRAB is the Star of the Show.
Once you have the patty created (4) as pictured above and to a frying pan with olive oil cook 3 to 5 minutes per side depending on your taste for browning.
These come out delicious of you enjoy true crab cakes. You can add other spices to your taste, cayenne is always a favorite.
